2011 Logomotion

Picture
LOGOMOTION is played on 27 by 54 foot field where alliances of three teams each compete to hang inflatable tubes. These tubes consist of triangles, circles, and squares.  The higher the robot hangs a tube the more points its worth. The first 15 seconds is called the autonomous period where the robots are pre-programmed to hang ubertubes. After this is the teleoperated period where drivers control the robot to hang as many tubes as they can. Towards the end of the match robots deploy minibots to climb the tower, racing against the other alliance's minibots.

2010 Breakaway

Picture
Breakaway is played on a 27' x 54' field where 2 alliances of three teams each compete to get the highest score possible. During the 15 second autonomous mode where the robots are preprogrammed, the robots try to score soccer balls into the goals where the drivers are. Then drivers assume the controls of their robot and try to score as many points possible by scoring soccer balls. During the last 20 seconds, robots try to hang off of one of the two towers and being completely off the ground for bonus points. Other robots can try to suspend off other robots hanging on the tower for even more bonus points.

2009 Lunacy

Picture
Lunacy is played on a 27' x 54' field where 2 alliances of 3 teams each try to score more points than the other. Robots are on slippery wheels and on a slick surface. The robots are autonomous for the first 15 seconds and move on to teleoperated mode. Drivers assume controls and try to shoot "moon rocks" into their opponents' trailers which are attached to the back of every robot. Human players may also shoot moon rocks into opponents' trailers as well. During the end game, if a human player has a empty cell they may use a super cell to throw into a trailer to score bonus points.

2008 Overdrive

Picture
Overdrive is played on a track where 2 alliances of 3 teams each compete to score more points than the other. The Hybrid period starts where the robot is preprogrammed and/or transmitted information from the Robocoach. Then drivers assume the controls of their robot and the robots can earn points either by making counter-clockwise laps around the track and/or moving large trackballs above or under the overpass that bisects the track. At the end of the match, if a track ball is on top of the overpass and not in contact with a robot or the ground it will earn bonus points.
