NERDo and his sister NERDette are great friends of Team 2337! They travel all over the world to spread the word of FIRST, and tell others about the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math! NERDo and NERDette love to visit Schools, go on vacations with their friends' families, and most of all, attend FIRST Robotics events!

2 alliances of three teams compete against each other on the field which is called the Court. During the first 15 seconds, known as the Hybrid Period, robots are controlled either autonomously or one of the robots on each alliance can be controlled by using the Microsoft Kinect. After this time, drivers of each team assume the controls of their robot. Teams score points by shooting foam basketballs into one of four hoops on their side of the court. Then teams can also score points by getting on bridges and balancing on it either by them self or with another robot on their alliance. On the middle bridge, one robot from each alliance tries to balance on it cooperatively to earn coopertition points.
