Hi! I'm NERDo!
I joined Team 2337 in 2012, and I love being a part of the EngiNERD Family. I have met a lot of interesting people, and visited oodles of amazing places! I love to tell others about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and spreading the word of FIRST can help others learn about these important subjects! FIRST means, “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”, and some High School friends of mine do this by building robots with Grown-Ups called Mentors. Students learn lots of information and new ways to complete tasks from their Mentors, and then use their robots to compete in some awesome games! One of the most important things they learn is Gracious Professionalism. This means that you try your best, but be nice to others, and help them whenever you can. For information on FIRST and Gracious Professionalism, ask your parents to help you visit www.usFIRST.org Traveling around the World is one of my favorite things, and I love talk to the new people I meet about the things I’ve been taught. To help spread the word of FIRST, I like to have my new friends take pictures of me in the places I visit. |
