Grade: Senior Section: Programming I joined the team because I liked science and math and was asked by a friend to join. My favorite part of Robotics is figuring out the problems that the Robot is facing. Outside of robotics, I like to play video games, work on side projects, and have fun. My favorite memory of robotics is that the first competition I went to was awe inspiring. The amount of people who worked and competed gave me a feeling of never wanting to quit. |

Grade: Senior Section: Mechanical Leadership: Mechanical I have a strong interest in engineering in general so I joined the team. My favorite part of robotics is design challenges that require extensive design. Outside of robotics, I like to play video games, play baseball, and watch documentaries. I think robotics is better than food. |

Grade: Senior Section: Programming Leadership: Operator interface I joined the team because I was interested in programming. My favorite part is the fun and enjoyable team Outside of robotics, I like to create modding software for indie games and do body work on cars. My favorite memory winning the FIRST Kettering competition. |

Grade: Senior Section: Mechanical Leadership: CAD I joined robotics because I had always loved making things. So when I found out about the awesome things our robots did, I decided to join. The long days at Premier are my favorite part of robotics. When I'm not a robotics, I like to play piano. My favorite memory of robotics is winning back to back competitions in 2011 at Ann Arbor and Troy. |

Grade: Senior Section: Team management and outreach Leadership: Awards Section Leader I joined robotics because one of my friends was bugging me to join the team. When we had our annual Robot Boot Camp, she told me just come tonight and if you do not like it you don't have to come again, and I have been here ever since. My favorite part of robotics is all the things I have learned. Robotics has been the best learning experience I can ask for. I have learned how to act and go about job interviews. I have also learn how to talk to people. Meeting new people is also a perk of robotics. Outside of robotics I like to play video games and read. I enjoy singing in Sweet Adelines chorus' and quartets. I like to hang out with friends and talk about robots. My favorite memory of robotics would be my first year on the team when we had won the Ann Arbor District event. A friend and I both threw our hands up in the air and hit each other in the face. Then we both ignored it like it didn't happen and hugged each other. |

Grade: Senior Section: Electrical Leadership: Electrical section student leader and photography section leader I joined the team because when I went to FRC competitions when I was in 7th grade I got hooked. In 8th grade I started going to meetings and saw how awesome this team really was. I ended up joining my freshman year. I am now a senior and I still love this team. My favorite part of robotics is when things break is because then there are more things to do. When I'm not at robotics, I enjoy painting, photography, video games, music and being outside. My favorite memory is when I showed Dean Kamen our "Dawg-Bot", I got to talk to him face to face and got him to sign our bot. |

Grade: Senior Section: Mechanical, Electrical I joined the team because I was interested in engineering and thought it would be a good experience. My favorite part of robotics is building the robot and machining parts for it. My favorite memory is the team winning for the first time at the Ann Arbor District Competition in 2010. Outside of robotics, I take part on the high school's quiz bowl team and the debate team. |

Grade: Senior Section: Electrical, programming, and team management and outreach Leadership: Autonomous I joined the team because in middle school, I wasn't able to join our FIRST Lego League team, but my friends did, and loved to tell me about what they would do. I have always been interested in computers, and in how things worked. A demo of our 2008 robot at my middle school had me sold! My favorite part of robotics is hacking away on robot code throughout our 12-hour weekend meetings with my best friends. It can be stressful and frustrating, but we come out with great final code that can propel our robot to victory! My favorite robotics memory is when we won the Chairman's Award in 2011 at the Ann Arbor District. Hearing the judges announce the award, as well as the hints to who had won it, and then watching our video go up on the screen was simply amazing. It was awesome to see all of our hard work be recognized, and shown to everyone at the competition. |

Grade: Senior Section: Mechanical Leadership: Chassis I joined the robotics team to learn more about STEM careers and the lifetime opportunities they present. My favorite part of robotics is being able to work in an actual machine-shop setting; while there, I get to gain experience pertaining to mechanical, electrical, programming, and 3D design. This setting also teaches team-building skills, such as good communication, responsibility, and other vital skills necessary in any workplace. Put simply, everything I get to do on the team gets to come with me even after I graduate, as they all have real-life applications that will guarantee a successful future. The best part? I get to have fun while doing so! Outside of Robotics and when I'm not doing homework or applying to college, I enjoy spending my time fishing, video gaming, and drawing. My greatest memories at robotics are definitely those that involve seeing the newest robot drive about the field at its very first competition. Nothing feels quite as exciting or satisfying as seeing the results of six weeks of hard work and team effort pay off at long last! |

Grade: Senior Section: Team management and outreach Leadership: Sponsorship I joined because in freshmen year I was looking for something new to do and a way to make friends. My cousin wagon a different robotics team ( team 27 RUSH) so I decided to check it out. I have to pick one? Oh my! I love robotics and choosing one part is hard! I love competition and all the energy of the teams and the friends I make from other schools. Build season is how I connect with my teammates and learn new engineering techniques. I love every aspect of FIRST Robotics! Outside of robotics I am an active member of the Grand Blanc high school choirs. I am in Choral and mixed chorus. Other than choir I enjoy solo singing, playing guitar, drawing, and reading as many books as I can! My favorite memory of robotics is in 2011 at the world competition in St. Louis, we meet Faith and her family. We collect pop tabs for Faith so that she can take them to the Ronald McDonald house to get money for her hospital bills. The family was so thankful for what we did for them I had no idea how much we did for them until I met them in person. |
